Lauren Armishaw

Lauren Armishaw is a New Zealand-born soprano who has been based for many years in the Netherlands, where she has a busy career as a soloist for both baroque and classical music throughout Europe. Aside from concert and oratorio work, Lauren specialises in 17th and 18th century opera. Recent roles include Alceste in Gluck’s Alceste, Laodice in Handel’s Siroe, and Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. She is a core member of the Netherlands Bach Society, and most recently visited Wellington as a member of the Netherlands Chamber Choir for their performances in the NZ Festival in March 2020.
